The Cook County Treasurer announced on its website that the 2014 second installment 2014 Cook County property tax bills have been mailed on July 1, 2015.  The second installment 2014 Cook County property tax bill follows the mailing of the first installment 2014 Cook County property tax bill, which occurred on January 1, 2015.

How is the Second Installment 2014 Cook County Property Tax Bill Calculated?

As explained on the Cook County Treasurer’s website, Cook County property taxpayers pay two installments of 2014 property tax.  The First Installment 2014 Cook County property tax bill is equal to 55% of the prior year’s total.  The second-installment 2014 Cook County property tax bill reflects the remaining amount due for the tax year.
